The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday will tie a bow on its 2023 package with UFC 296 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, where Leon Edwards defends the undisputed welterweight crown against Colby Covington in the main event. Meanwhile, Alexandre Pantoja puts the flyweight title on the line in the five-round co-headliner opposite Brandon Royval.

Edwards, 32, steps back into view on a 12-fight unbeaten streak. The Team Renegade star last appeared at UFC 286, where he put his rivalry with Kamaru Usman to bed and retained the welterweight championship with a five-round majority decision on March 18. Edwards has not lost a fight in almost eight years. Covington, meanwhile, has won nine of his past 11 bouts. The MMA Masters rep last suited up on March 5, when he outpointed Jorge Masvidal to a unanimous verdict at UFC 272. Covington holds a 12-3 record inside the Octagon.
